Raffle Bike Rules


  1. To enter, correctly complete an official raffle ticket stub and present it to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame either directly, via U.S. Mail, by entry through the Museum’s website or at any show or event where the raffle is promoted. A minimum contribution of $5.00 per ticket or $20.00 for five tickets is suggested, but larger contributions are encouraged. No purchase necessary.
  2. Enter as often as you wish. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. ONLY official raffle tickets will be accepted. To receive raffle tickets by mail, send one stamped self-addressed envelope per entry request to: AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147. Tickets may be obtained by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover during regular Museum business hours by telephone at (800) 342-5464, or via the Museum website, www.motorcyclemuseum.org. This raffle may be presented in conjunction with various other promotions sponsored by the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
  3. This raffle begins officially on July 21, 2012. All entries must be received prior to the drawing in July 2013 to be eligible. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible, or postage-due mail, or for printing or other errors.
  4. The prize winner will be selected in a random drawing and all decisions are final. The drawing will be conducted and the winner will be announced at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days in July 2013. Odds of winning are determined by the total number of eligible entries received. Entries become the property of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and will not be returned.
  5. The potential winner will be notified by telephone and/or certified mail. Potential winner will follow directions contained and any required affidavit of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance form or any other correspondence attached therewith and return all forms, correctly filled out, so that the forms are received within twenty-one days of the date of the correspondence. Non-compliance within this time period may result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. The potential winner is responsible for ensuring that all of the previously mentioned forms are actually received at the designated address within twenty-one days.
  6. The grand prize consists of a 1943 Indian 741. There is only one grand prize to be awarded. The total value of the grand prize is approximately $25,000. The motorcycle will be displayed at various motorcycle events and will, as a result, be subject to some wear and tear. Value of the prize is stated in U.S. currency. Taxes, duties, shipping, licensing and registration fees are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  7. Winner agrees to remove the motorcycle from Museum premises by no later than December 1, 2013. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the prize and prize will then be awarded to an alternate ticket holder.
  8. Raffle is subject to all applicable laws and is void where prohibited or otherwise restricted by applicable law. Persons entering the raffle are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in any way relating to their entry or entries whether based upon their place of residence or otherwise. Winner is responsible for all taxes, tariffs, fees, shipping and miscellaneous costs related to the prize won and its transportation.
  9. Paid employees of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation (AMHF), the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), members of the AMHF, AMA and Paradama Boards of Trustees and any of the previously mentioned parties’ immediate families are not eligible to participate.
  10. The winner releases the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and the American Motorcyclist Association and its officers, agents, and employees from any responsibility or liability in connection with any loss, accident, or death incurred in connection with the use of this prize. The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum does not make, nor is responsible for, a warranty or a guarantee with regards to this prize.
  11. By acceptance of the prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name and address and/or likeness for purposes of advertising or trade without additional compensation.
  12. For the name of the winner go to www.motorcyclemuseum.org, watch American Motorcyclist magazine, or send a self-addressed, stamped (number 10 size) envelope to: AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, 13515 Yarmouth Drive, Pickerington, OH 43147. The name will not be released until the winner has been notified.
  13. By entering the raffle, each participant agrees to abide by the rules of the raffle. The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation reserves the right to amend, revise, and interpret these rules as it sees fit.
